I received an email from “Microsoft/Yahoo Lottery” telling me that I won 2,000,000 GRP. At first, I don’t know what to think, I’m speechless. But a thing come up to my mind that maybe this is a scam. So I search it and found out that many people where fooled by this. It’s like all my plans to spend the money was gone. I was disappointed. Of course, who wouldn’t want money? I could have help many people out of that and it will be of great help for my family and for my studies.
But then I realized that I’m still blessed. I was able to know that it was a scam which drove me away in giving information of myself to people I don’t know. I was guided by the Almighty One thus keeping me on a safe place. He protected me from the bad thing that might happen to me. As I was deleting the scam message, I realized that it is better not to have that money because it might lead me to someone I am not. It might urge me to be boastful and unkind because that’s what usually happen to people who have plenty of money. But I’m not saying that all rich people are bad. I just don’t want to take the risk of allowing myself to be an irresponsible pragmatic person.
Being humble is still the best way to live life. No matter who you are, no matter what you are doing, as long as you don’t fool others and take advantage out of them, then you are in the right path of being a fully human.
